Located in the serene foothills of Budhanilkantha, this residence was envisioned as a cozy retreat where architecture and landscape exist in gentle harmony. The planning prioritizes openness and seamless visual connections to the garden, allowing greenery to become an integral part of everyday living. Spaces are planned for comfort, encouraging family interaction while also offering moments of privacy. What makes this project especially meaningful to us is its place in our journey. As one of our earliest residential works, it laid the foundation for our approach to context-sensitive design, where the landscape, climate, and lifestyle of the occupants guide every architectural decision. Even after more than 30 years, the home continues to stand as a quiet testament to timeless design where it grows more beautiful as the landscape matures around it.
